I have modded a map right, I have already pmied a wraith into my map. I have changed lots of things, but have only pmied one thing, the wraith. I have read many pmi tutorials and have tried them and most of them worked for me, but what about now if i wanted to add some stuff. I have came to understand that you have to have a clean map, or untouched map to build new vertices etc... I mean, I have never been able to add more than one thing, after rebuild. All the tutorials start with a fresh map, what do I do now that I have done all this work and want to pmi some stuff in??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need a detailed Tutorial just for this question. please.

you dont need to start with a fresh map, use your rebuilt map as the one you batch, and as the one you extract the BSP, and as the one you put in your rebuild folder
wherever it says stock map, use the rebuilt one, and you'll be fine.

not true, hmt usually fails at rebuilding rebuilt.
Just follow that tut, and PMI everything at once

HUH? Sorry but i dont understand, really. I tried using my rebuilt map for when it asked for the original when i rebuild, but it doesnt work!!!! That's why I would put a topic on this. Maybe I am not understanding you much, or maybe you dont understand me. This is the best tutorial and simplest I have found for PMIing>>>
http://www.modhalo.net/index.php?showtopic=626 and one of the steps is to
use a unmodded map. Is there another way?

I've successfully rebuilt a map 3 times, each time adding something different, and only selecting that one thing as a new item, just because I wanted to see if it would break
Maybe I just got lucky?

just start over and add everything at once, or try to use the rebuild map. Apparently it might break it though, so make a backup or something. Other than that, can't really help you, it's either gonna work or it won't, theres no secret, I've told you everything I know of the matter.
I would make a backup of your map, and follow a tutorial, and wherever it says unmodded map, ignore it and use your modded. It's worth a shot, it's worked for me before
Other then that, just start over.

If you did, how did you? what tutorial did you use, or can you tell me how you PMIed things, adding something after rebuilding 3 times?

I Completed it and rebuilt the map 2wice and it finished both times, but when tried to play it on halo, it gave me a stupid exception!!! What I want to know is because it completed both rebuilds, did that mean I did everything right, I just didnt fix every thing in HMT; or, even though It said it completed, or finished, it could still be screwed up?
I need some serous help with PMIing***NOT THE BASIC WAY THOUGH***

don't follow his advice, that only really worked by a fluke.
restart. Pmi all the objects at once like in the tut. So what if you have to do the wraith again?

It's really not that hard to PMI things. It's difficult at first, but if you follow the tutorials and are carefull with it, soon you'll be able to PMI 20+ things in no time at all.
I'd just start over, or just continue without the thing you need to PMI. It sucks cause apparently you put alot of time into it, but thats life. Sorry.

You remind of SL!P somehow...
Anyway, if the problem can't be solved, there's no need to post here.
