portable grav lift??

yeah i've been messing with hmt and hht trying to get i to work but i cant
so how do i make a gravity lift, brainstorm ideas, and we can see if theyh work. i know titusz made tags, or i think it was him, so as a last resort we use tags, hopefully not

hmm, swap a grenade with a vertically firing projectile that does no damage to the player.

what projectile is vertical
heres what i was thinking, we edit the force of the frag grenade, as well as the pushback, so we make the push back say 10 or so, then you make the radius say 0.2 or something, but only problem is is that this will just push you up ones, the challenge as makeing it repeat it self, that i dont know how.
if you want to know where to find thi look in the frag explosion under the damage tag.

active scenery might work.
Basically, swap the ITMC of the grenade with the WEAP of the grenade, edit it to respawn at a VERY fast rate, set the force right, and it will continuosly spawn, pushing you up.
You'll probably get an exception as soon as you throw a grenade. Sorry. You can make a non-portable grav-lift this way, place the ITMC on the map via sparkedit. Tahdah?

like an AR, that fires vertically, and the trigger is held on drop, and has infinite ammo. that should work.

well i know that the vertically firing projectile will work if you do it. I have seen it done before in a CE map.

Item Collection. I think you could make a little block with another invisible block on top, and the invisible block move back ward and forward there fore pushing you up.

he wants this in PC, if not he'll convert someone elses tags. Which I would do first.

Umm... there are gravlift tags in Silent Chartographer. It is the big hole in the place where there are three Jakals behind th door in the room that you enter after kicking off the rock I think, just fall in to it.

I think you might be goin a bit crazy there, I've searched through the map myself in HMT and sparkedit, and have gotten confirmation theres no grav-lift in it. If you can find it post it though, by all means.

i think he ment the A50.
Umm in the physics tag if you scroll down it says antigravity, BUT it only effects the vehicles, so that could be used for a hover car mb?
i haven't really made anything astounding except for my p rifle which does launch me into the air and back down again. if i hold down the trigger i can keep going up and down. Grav lift gun mb??
maybe conure or some other halo mdding mastermind could lend a hand?

I'v seen it before in a mod with H3 weapons. It was fully functional. Try CE>PC.

I'm probably to late, but anyway.
I used a device_machine to create the lift.
The machine spawned 5 projectiles.
I tried the nades before, but the problem was that the explosion didn't work correctly IMO. The projectiles spawn in random directions last time I checked.
So I used some weird way of making the explosion spawn a weapon (with the Z axis up box checked) and made the gun explode (the explosion than spawned the device_machine). That was my way of spawning it with the z axis up.
I'm sure that there are better ways to spawn it decent using scripts and stuff.
Mine was far from "ok". So I never released it.
I might have the tags somewhere if anyone wants them to "experiment".
I've quit modding nowadays anyway :p.
