Phoenix strikes again

Post by bcnipod »

I just thought i might want to let everyone know that pheonix struck again and tried to rip a tutorial on AI that i made and make it his own without crediting me. he posted it on his forum word for word what i posted here. I just thought i might want everyone know that he did this, so if you are concerned about your work you might want to check his site. i got him to take down my tut. also he just took down 2 other tuts that may have also been ripped. one was about making rain in BG and the other was about making the pelican destructible. also he told me that
btw a lot of guys have ripped from me but i didnt said even word , so its your choise will you tell HM.And you know what?First i tried the halo 3 weapons but that guy did it before me, this guy did it before me...and i didnt said even word.
I believe he is talking about Tazz. just to let everyone know that he is ripping some stuff again.

also this is something the admins might want to fix. Phoenix told me that he can read what is on this site by viewing the page source. so you might want to fix that.

He's in the RC. He can view the messages just by looking at the page. He isn't banned...

Meh.

So what purpose does this thread have again? Yeah, he appears to be a jerk. You can't really stop him.

is there anyway to redirect him so he cannot view stuff here. i am rather annoyed that he was able to grab something of mine then call it his own even after he was banned or RC'd or whatever.

I can tell you that a banned account can not view the content of a page by viewing the source. The only way I suspect he's viewing it is by changing his IP.

ok is there anything to stop that? because I am really annoyed about this and i am sure anyone else would feel the same if it was there work.

also you will find that he is breaking his own rules. but Pakundo knows all about those don't you Pakundo...

You'd be wise to not link to sites advocating theft of content.

Stop him from changing his IP..? No...
You'd need to go to his house and forcefully remove his computer(s) so he does not have access to them.

1. that was a link to the rules, showing that they break there own rules
2. can you ban his MAC address from connecting to the server that this site is hosted from?

Was it, or was it not, a link to a site advocating theft of content? It was, regardless of what post you linked.

No.

or you can monitor the user's IP address (if you can) and seach for similarities (usually a switch of one or two numbers)
eg:
89.45.76.19.123
Different computer:
89.45.76.19.124

Honestly this thread is full of fail. There is nothing we can do from changing his IP address, we can't stop him from stealing stuff from the website and posting it on a different site.

I never knew he knew how to use a proxy. Honestly, he's not a really bright guy.
