MAKING ONLY A VERTICLE SPREAD TO PROJECTILES

Imagine a new type of alien rocket launcher that shoots a verticle line of rocket or lazers. Is there a way to add only verticle spread of projectles to a weapon, not overall spread? sorry if this question has been asked, but have not found it. please help me!!!!!

no i've been wondering about this too, He wants to know if you can make it spread along a vertical line and not in every direction.

Halo is relatively realistic for what it is, I mean you can't go judging what they make happen (energy shields and drugs and whatnot) considering it has to do with the future. I mean, are you going to say they can't teleport in star trek because we can't right now?

but yea Vertical spread seems kinda lame lol. Could be used for some things I guess, I'm not sure how to do it though.

Models shifting have to do with animations. CE->PC until conure finds out how to do that too.

My eschaton .ent weapon plugin has a enum that has the spread type, this controls circle or line. //beats andrew by several months

even mortar has some horizontal spread. btw that mod that you showed looks stupid. I also still think the idea is rediculously lame.

How about instead of complaining try and give advice?

the only advice I can give is that it can't be done. I looked with all kinds of plugins (pen's, Defaults, HHT, and the advanced weapons plugin) and I could find NOTHING about recoil besides just general spread.

dunno if this is to any use, but I remember seeing somewere in one of the major tools, Eschaton, or HMT, I remember seeing a checkbox with something like, Horizontal Spread or seomthing like that, in the Weap tag or Proj tag.

That was my advice. it's lame. It would be a lame addition in my eyes. Why give advice on how to do it if it's not possible?
