MP teams

this question has been asked before, and the answer was obvious: select the team in HMT.
but i think most people meant: "how do i make the teams in MP?"
i saw how to PMI AI, and added some flood, hunters, covenant dropship turrets and more, successfully, and intelligent(except the turrets, they suck). slight problem tho: they're all on the same team. AGAINST humans.
i saw a cool mod on youtube, where the guy played as a grunt, and he had a team of red grunts running along with him, and a team of enemy blue grunts.
i came up with a couple of ideas... should i duplicate the bipeds, setting a team for each? they still attack humans only. perhaps i should set the human's team? but then the AI won't face each other...
so, how do i make multiple AI teams in Multiplayer?
another question: how do i make them respawn? if i switch them to vehicles i can only have so few, if i make them scenery they won't respawn.

PC AI for Multiplayer never turns out good.

CE. That's the only way to make it AI on teams. that's all there is to it.

oh.... okay then, but why?
and, why is it that marines are on your team in SP, but EVERYTHING attacks you in MP? maybe i can make a humans and marines vs. hunters style map.

its because its not CE.
Look any AI you pmi into a mp map is against you.

This works for SP and may help for MP:

Well if you find a way to mod the b30.map do this...
Go to bipd tag
Click characters\elite\elite
In the Meta/Reflexive Editing Window Go Down to Enum 16
Click Default Team
Click Human And Click "Pick flag"
Do this to the Grunt Tag Also And When You Load Up The Map the Marines
and Covenant should be friends and not shoot you.
Note: Its Fun To Change the marine armored tag to Covenant
So you can fight Them but, Most will jump out of the Pelican When You load Up the Map.
The thing is you're set to be on the "player" team in MP as opposed to the "human" team like you are in SP. At least that's what I remember. Been too long.

and i could've sworn last time i checked MP biped teams were the same as SP biped teams...

listen real closely.
PC AI MODS ARE RUBBISH. YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE AI'S TEAMS.
Just because HMT has a faulty plugin thats supposed to change teams but doesn't, does not mean that it works. So stop arguing please. We were telling you the correct information and advice and you just blew it off.

It's glitchy at best. And AI mods aren't always trash even if a lot of them are. Just scroll through the in the bipd tag in HMT until you see the team option flag. (Which I might add has been verified as a legit value using research from the HEK.)

yeah, it is glitch but i found that here is a pattern to it. e.g. AotCR level if you switch the team that the elites are on, almost every other room you will hav elites fighting with you. one room the elites will aid you, the next they won't, they will fight you.
