How do I create new bitmaps of a picture?

I want to mod BG with ports. The thing is, I want to have a picture in front of the port of where it leads to. (I.E. A picture of the blue base, where the tele takes you to.) The only way I can think of doing this is to create a new bitmap of the picture. Another thing, if I get this done, how would I be able to move the picture to a certain location?

I would PMI and duplicate the 'scenery\plants\vines_hanging\vines_hanging' piece of scenery, it has a flat surface and an alpha channel on its texture.

My PMI only duplicates weapons...

PMI'ing (Perfect Model Injection) is the term used to describe rebuilding a map with de-crapped models successfullly. That's what I would do, duplicate and extract the scenery a few times, then put my bitmap on it.

Yea, I read about those in the tut section. The thing is, all the tuts are for putting a wraith, pelican, etc. into a map. I just want a bitmap that I can paste a pic over with .dds, then be able to move that around where ever I want. I have no idea how to do that. Think you can give me a quick tut? I would appreciate that SO much.

I added them as new files, but I didn't decrap or extract the raw models. Rebuilding confuses the hell out of me.

I'll PMI it in there for you real quick-like. anything else you want added into it? (Duplicated Weapon tags, [Duplicated] Vehicles, [Duplicated] Scenery, bipeds, etc.)

Hmm...maybe a duplicated plasma rifle and AR? And can you duplicate the vines at least 8 times (if it isn't a hassle) since I have about 8 different pictures I want to use.

Uhhhhh....yeah sure, I'l duplicate them 8 times. That's gonna be loads of fun to do, haha.
Oh, make sure you know how to inject textures over it so they don't replace each-other,
