HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i tried all the fixes and none of them worked for me...i have an NVIDIA graphics card and my text wont show up at all...i tried the camo fix i tried the DXTweaker i tried yelo battery...no luck is their any way to fix this??

You're talking about the Halo chat right? like communicating with other players. You need your MS XML installed, by doing this you can go to your installation directory and double click "msxmlenu.msi". If there is an error with the installer or it does not work, try doing the same thing but by using your Halo CD, which the installer is somewhere on it.

i already did that earlier today and i forgot to note that im using windows vista also

That might have something to do with it.

Try this:

Go to "Start" > "Run" and type in the Open box:

regsvr32 msxml4.dll

Click OK


Note** This may be different in Windows Vista, I wouldn't know.

P.S: I don't think that this question should be in the "Modding Discussion" forum, I think it would be better in a different section. Just remember that for next time.

i did that earlier too lol but wheres that .dll file located i can try to do something else if i find out where that file is

Remove your fixes, Yelo Battery, and DXTweaker. Then try updating your graphics drivers.

BTW, before a fight breaks out. Text works on vista.

if it does how come it isnt for me and i removed all the programs yelo dxtweaker etc and i updated my driver and its still the same

That's the ms xml thing...it's happened to me before. Install the MS XML but from this:

Hopefully with that installed, plus the msxmlenu.msi we installed earlier, it'll work.

WTF are those spartans doing to each other.

installed and still the same things happening...but i just remembered something when i tried installing that msxmlenu.msi it kept giving me errors and then crashing right at the end of it...right before the finish screen -_- thx for the help though untalkative i really appreciate it

and bcnipod the spartans are raping each other ^^ jk ones dead on the bottom and the others falling from having a bullet to the face
