Skinning Problems

I am having trouble injecting skins with hmt. I use paint and after i converted it with dds converter v 2.1 it says that it must be DXT1. This has never been addressed in a tutorial i think. Help plz. BTW i have trial, is that a factor?

It means you converted it to DXT1, and the texture u need to be importing must be something else. (when it says "Must be DXT$$", it's opposite.)

ok this happened to me so heres what you do, when you go to save your texture your texture, always choose ''save as'', there should be a drop down box thats says something like DXT1 (no alpha) or something like that, CHANGE that to DXT3 then save. now you can inject your textures,

thanks i haven't tried it yet but hopefully it will work

EDIT: i just did what u did hiheyhello and when i try injecting it, it says texture must be DXT2 or DXT3

PS i also used DXTBmp
