This is the first time i tried moding halo pc in a while and i just tried injecting a model into halo but it says taht it cant read beyond end of stream. when i open teh original model i found that it was all neat and the lines were separated and when i opend my .obj model it was all crazy with text every were of xyz coors and the lines wernt separated but were put together with the "unknown" charater (empty box) i tried opening the model in zbrush and exporting again and the text was "slightly" neater. So before i try downloading milkshape I was just thinking if there is any other way to do this.

maybe because you don't open models in Notepad. yes of course it will do that. try redoing it and export it as a .obj

well thats basicly what a model is, a unicode file of xyz coors of vertices and so on. and it only looks like that when i export useing 3ds max if you notice the comment at the top of the text files.

ok sorry andrew if that sounded offensive, i don't think it was. I was just curious why he was opening the .obj files in notepad instead of 3ds max or milkshapes or wings or whatever other modeling programs there are.
