Could someone post the Meta of the flag? (The meta as in from HMT)

Yeah. Why ask for it? they're normally different, too.
Look for the flag under the main weapons. Then find the meta next to the "swap" box at the top.

best bet is to reinstall the game or revert to a backup map.

If you don't want to loose everything, you could save a flag meta out of an unchanged map (copy your altered map to a different folder and reinstall the game if you must, take the meta out of the newly reinstalled map), batch extract thealtered one, put the flag meta in to replace the messed up one, then rebuild the map.
