Injecting new models in HMT with 3ds max 9

I need help with my program, 3ds max9, I don't know what settings to put it at when I import or export port out after I edit the weapon.

how about you just use misfit modeler. 3ds max 9 is more for halo custom edition. I dont remodel with it..

Well, you could make the models into gbxmodel tags, and collision, then convert them, using a tutorial if you don't know how, then you can swap the model depenencies for whatever with that. Then you will have a completly customized model, no need to worry about all that vertices and indices being the same. :)

Yes, I know... but still, I mean you could make some pretty good mods though. I don't think its too much work though.

if you add a vertice and a face you would need to skin that face....

remodeling is easier to do without 3ds max

Yeah, I suppose. I use GMax personally, all you have to do is uvw-unwrap. Pretty useful, but hey, I'll do what I do. If you are looking for something quick, Yes, go with something simpler.
