ive seen lots of people make their maps/mods in gmax 3ds max and maya. but which ones best??

i dont really get into the modeling but ive heard everywhere that GMAX is the best followed by MilkShape.

Maya is a prfesional model maker and u can do much more
i have the learing version
some people could make things that look REAL

it is the best 3d prgram
they used that program to make dinocrsis 3

but it costs 2000 bucks

3ds max is best. Too bad if you buy it you will have to sell ur car. That thing is expensive!

What about softimage's XSI? I just got it and it rocks...I was just wondering if anyone knew if it would work.

idoits.. gmax is 3dsmax just stripped down.. so obviously 3ds max is better, lol, what were you thinking.. thats why its free, cause its 3ds max with no good features.. but maya is the most expensive used for the most things, and has more advanced features then 3ds max and is slightly better, although it depends on how u like to model things.. each are good, and can techinically deliver the same for performance.. they are equal, but one is better for movies, and the other for maps, and geometry

We All know that gmax is 3dmax scaled down. I've seen screens of both. I'm just saying 3D MAx is best! Though it costs a lot.

actually i got it from my father.. he uses it for work... he gets anything he needs that might remotely help him work for free, lol

yeah.. coke is better, and less addictive.. but most drugs suxk anyway... not good benefits.. so unless u mix em urself they all suck, so dont do em
