I have the Halo Trial and I was wondering wether you can use mods or not in that version. If so, please tell me how, thanks.

Very easily, you just have to use mods that are made for halo trial. Any .ppfs for halo full will fail because they change data at specified offsets and the trial version of bloodgulch and b30 have different offsets for their meta data. If you find a .ppf that's for trial, then you simply apply it using ppf-o-matic following this very simple tutorial here. If it's a compressed version of the map, you simply uncompress it and put it in your maps folder replacing the original (you should probably make a backup of the original).

This is a .ppf trial mod that rates pretty well. In general you'll see that mods for trial have "trial" somewhere within the topic title.
