Mod to enable Antialiasing possible?

I see no reason why AA is not working with Halo PC. It is not using HDR or any other advanced shader technology and it is built upon the 2.0 model.
Can't Antialiasing be forced through a mod? Did anyone ever do this? Or do you guys use other tools to get AA working?

Why? And how? Where is this texture? Also, why do YOU have this effect working? It doesn't work on ANY of my computers. What card do you have EXACTLY? 8800GTX? Do you use DX10?
Let's continue in the other thread about this problem!

But why? Maybe because it is a straight port of the console version, still it is very strange. I know of another game where it can't be forced (Devil May Cry 3), also a conversion. Still I'd like to know what's the reason behind this in Halo.

What do you mean, because of the problem that I can't see the crystal clear cloaking? How and what can I edit this?

There is no anti aliasing in halo pc, but there is for mac. If you see pictures of the pc version not looking so pixelized, its because the people are playing at a very high resolution.

So in short - no way to get AA on a PC? Not even through super sampling or something? I mean if noone has done this until now - there will never be a way

I just don't have that insight in the current Halo mod scene and stuff.
For example I just found out a way to get the active cameo working this very HOUR and I am searching for a fix for this for YEARS already (been on several graphics cards from NVidia AND ATI. See my other thread for the cameo stuff who's interested - it DOES work.
