does anyone happen to know which tag contain the color data for the gametype thing (the one that's not changed)

also, after editing the HUD color, I started exceptioning everytime i touch a certain rock... and im confused... any thoughts?

Plzlzzzz give me tutorial how do you change it...And for the HUD you asked : Take a look in the bitmaps(in multiplayer!!).

i've checked all the ui/hud items... as well as all sorts of other tags within the ui. I also just hexed the .map itself with all of halo's default colors i've recorded, and nothing changed...
and pheonix, i posted a tutorial on this site, but its in the utilities section because none of the staff members will move it.
I also updated the app, so what's shown in this pic can be done without out guerrilla in a few minutes. I'm waiting to release it until I can find this little bastard.

patrick, you do know you dont have to edit each tag individually right? You can open the entire map and replace all the instances of those colors all at once if you want. Thats what i've been doing. And if it didn't change, it might be in ui (maybe) and if not i guess its a different color. So if you find the default color, try editing the whole map instead of a single tag.

No...i was doing Trak modding...and he didnt have a clue what i was talking about...and i didnt have a clue about what i was changing...i made the camera of the pelican 100 meters ahead of the pelican... :\
conure knows alot...but not everything...thats where i come in.

yes i have been doing the entire map edit, and like I said, i opened a map and changed every default halo color value i knew, and came up with nothing. no it's not in the ui.
perhaps it's stored in a float, which would explain why we cant touch it using the colorbyte method. If it is, i just need to find what tag it's in and then I'll make a plugin that edits it. but once again, we should just wait for our savior to show us reason

@patrick...not true... conure has been teaching me lots of stuff... Im almost done with my frekin CE->PC tut that tells you how to get good bitmaps...lawl.

well ok, as soon as u tell me why u hate me so much to give me a fals fore radar color. lol jk. but it never worked for me and still isnt working. I seriously have tried everything. I even got ce and guerilla but i have no clue how to use it or find any colors or anything

In order to change the flag hud you must first...meditate.
2nd you must think hard about HMT source code
3rd you must open HHT and close it 4 1/2 times or it wont work
4th open hmt go to unhi
5th see if you can find anything

no it's not in unhi.

just plug that into my app and try it out, you should get like 4 hits
