Matrix Tutorial

This is my first tutorial and it is on how to change a active camo into a matrix powerup(in your screen it looks like everyone's going slow and you're going normal but to everyone else it looks like your going superfast)

THE VERY SIMPLE DIRECTIONS

1.Open Hex Workshop

2.Find Active Camo on the offset list(its under equitment)

3.Copy and paste the offset into the goto menu in hex workshop

4.On the offset list under equitment find "Double Speed"

5.Replace the value of the active camo with that of the "Double Speed"

6.Start the level and the active camo will be replaced by the matrix power-up

Notes:When you pickup the powerup it says picked up a flamethrower, I don't know why

Feel free to send comments on this tutorial and make sure to vote in the poll.

im sorry you must have been living in a cave for the past week.... ever heard of HMT3? SO JUST SWAP THE DAMN INVIS WITH THE DOUBLE SPEED.

this is exactly why noobies shouldnt make tutorals, cause they themselves dont know anything. (case and point in a nuke! thread)

and as for the noobies, if they dont know how to swap then they should stick to playing. so should you.

and if anything is gay, its the fact that you called this the matrix mod.

im gonna side with butter on this one, ive done it like a month ago anyways (on accident) its simple. too simple. modding should be left to the people who are good at it. like pfhor...something, iron forge, me, GlasssjAW, and a few others. n00bs supply the ideas and we supply the actual product (+ more goodies). sorry man, if this modding thig gets to many people involved, then it wont be fun anymore.

speaking of some matrix crazy feats, try putting the "walk on walls" flag on so u can run on the walls (actually looks like it too).

dodging bullets... man, why do you think gearbox didnt put the double speed powerup in the game? hmmm..... oh yea, LAG!!!!!

MODS SHOULDN'T BE ABOUT BEING CHEAP! thats why i like iron_forges' mods, cause they add new stratgey to the game.

no, actually double speed mod slows everything down, dont ask me y.. but everything is cut in half (gravity, bullets, everything) so it wouldnt be laggy, just werid, cause mc still runs the same :)

This is why I hate forums like this...just a bunch of assholes who think they are better then everyone else. I think that the tutorial might help some people who didnt know what double speed does. Hell, you were a newbie modder once too, and you really shouldnt compare yourself to iron forge, becuase I know for a fact you cant mod half as good as he can. And plus, Iron forge answers peoples questions, and is a nice guy, not a asshole. He also realizes that all people are newbies at one time and they need help to learn how to mod. Plus, you have no idea if the guy who posted this tutorial is a newbie. He might be really good, and alot of people were pming him about double speed or matrix mod or something, so he posted a tutorial. www.halo-mods.com dosent allow assholes so if anyone wants a forum asshole free go there.

and this is why fourms hate you like this. you must have found that tutorial very useful, considering that the double speed is pretty much a glitch. that tutorial is a waste, there are at least 5 good tutorial (on this site) that explains offset swaping.

and where did i compare myself to iron_forge? you must be drunk or something. and when do you see iron explaining simple offset swaping? thats really old news, he wrote a tutorial on the subject months ago.

the whole reason i wrote that post is because there are certain people who just shouldnt mod, they just dont get it. writing a tutorial thats been writen thousands of times before just shows how noobish you really are.

i did get mad cause he said that was a gay comment, but you call me an asshole again and ill bitch slap your momma.

im a n00b

hey hes not a n00b im a n00b. and u know what else get out of my mothers bedroom. Sometimes n00bs are better then people who consider them self some l337 hacker when they're just swapping offsets (something anyone can do). people have low post counts cause people on other forums dont know what the hell there talking about or are just arogent asses like u. I ran a search on u and i dont see asingle mod to ur name just you being an ass and challenging the world to take u on when u could get beaten by my great grandma (whose dead) or being a hypocrit and telling information thats already been posted a hundred times. SO....
I fart in your genral direction
your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elder berries.
now go away and leave us n000bs alone or i will taunt u a second time (and there willl be much rejoycing).

sry that this is extremely off topic, but phoenix9 got me going. ahem

"look u crazy bastard u got no arms left." "yes i have" "look" "tis but a flesh wound. chicken! chicken!" "Ill have ur leg! Right." *Chop* (forgotten lines) *chop* "alrite, well call it a draw. o runnin away eh? cum bac here, ill bite ur legs off"

ok thats outta my system, but seriously though, dankbutter, ur a friend and all, but u dont need 2 b bashin sum1 whos at least willin 2 help, and he did say it was very easy, so its not like hes got this attitude that hes the king of the multiverse and then sum

Ok, well i have to agree with butter. I am a noob and i think that this is just a fun little thing for me to do on my spare time. I know i will prolly never get good enough to upload mods to this site. I also know that you guys could do it much better than i. And yes, mods that keep strategy in the game are the best. I really like iron forge's mods. Im going to test some more out that i saw earlier. And if you would like ideas im sure i can come up with some...

Ok firstly, do you agree with dankbutter that people should be allowed to insult other users for no reason other than wanting to be an a-hole? Because the moderating team at www.halo-mods.com don't.
Secondly, stop denigrating yourselves by saying "Hey look at me! I'm a n00b! Insult me!" Remember, a n00b is different from a newbie. Don't be intimidated by "n00b"bashing people like dankbutter, who seems to be as new to modding as most of you guys.

This guy was trying to contribute something...
Sure.. maybe it's old information but the point is, he took the time to write up a tutorial and post it for the sole purpose of trying to help.

There was a time when I didn't know jack shit about Halo modding, just like there was a time for all of you as well. Of course.. when I first got into it no one else knew anything either but that's beside the point hehe.. If people had flamed me for trying to help out, I wouldn't have stuck around.

Many people on this board - in fact, any game-related board I've ever visited - are way too quick to jump some poor guy for being a n00b. You know what? Not one of us is running Microsoft or performing brain surgery this afternoon, so ease up on people. There's no reason to not be polite, even if we think the original comment was dumb or simplistic. Find a nicer way to say it.
