ok.. i didnt know how to skin things, i seached and found this as one of the posts. i got the .dds plugin from nividia ( http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nv_t ... tools.html ) but it says REQUIRED:(msvcr71.dll) in your Windows\System folder, i got that too. but what/where is the .dds file(s)?? :?: :?:

I think your talking about specualr. That makes the objects nice and shiny but you need a nice good vid card for that like a radeon 9200

also. It looks like you are painting completely over the old dds files. If you notice there are texture, gradient, and lightness variations in the original textures. This gives the skin its realistic look. You should make your texture less opaque. Try desaturating, (make it black and white) the old texture. Then use the overlay tool in photoshop, Its in the layers menu to the left of the opacity option. I find that if i make my texture into an overlay or soft light layer and place it ontop of the original, it looks much nicer.
