Need help with throwing cars

When u make ur gun shoot cars they just appear on u and u die. Ive used the xyz coordinates plugin but that just made them appear away from u and they dont get thrown. when i switched the frag grenade projectile with the warthog i can actually throw the car and see it fly at them, but i get crushed when it appears. How can i make it so it wont appear on me just a bit ahead?

go back and do the XYZ coords again and make it appear away from you, and then change the projectile speed to something higher than 0.
That's under [proj] in HMT, change it to like 1.5 or something around there, and that plus the XYZ tags will make it appear away from you and shoot out.

the xyz plugin only works for guns. what im want is to press the grenade button but the warthog comes out flying. i can do that but it kills me.
