well get this, in sp, when you first play the first level, you can get 3 weapons if you rush quickly, so it is very possible to do this.

Apparently there's a glitch on PoA where you can get 3 weapons, but I'm not sure how to do it. I like finding glitches

Its a plugin for HMT. Not a ppf. And that download is a short movie of the plugin working in game. Its not released yet

Hex, I think you can add more weapons as well. I know with hek for haloce they accomplished this. Where to do it is the question. Possibly in the globals section? Or maybe you could look at mc biped meta and see if you can find reference/values for weapons assigned to mc at start of a mission and maybe add another value to it. Or it could be a matter of finding the value of 2 for carried weapons and changing it. I've been playing around with ai values and for weapon reference areas, I look on right side of hex editor for paew text ( it's backwards for weap). I know that for grenades for number carried it was under the globals section.

i had three weapons once.

I had the Halo2 mod installed and i wanted to see what it would be like if i played on a normal BG map. So i joined a server and everything was still halo2-ish. For some reason i started out with an empty gravity rifle so i exchanged it for a shotgun and a BR. But when i came out, there was an empty grav rifle laying on the ground and when i walked over it, i picked up(without doing anything). At first i was like, "Crap, i want my guns back", but then i realized that i still had all three. but when i tried to shoot the guy in the tank(who looked like a floating turret) i dropped the grav rifle...then i got shot and died.
