i then added somethings to pc bloodguclh bsp in misfit i added a box.
know i want to add it back
so i would probally do ce to pc
i know there are tutorials but
this is an obj file where do i start to get it into my map as the bsp
once ive done this and built my map i will have to convert the bsp
i do not want any other tags just that bsp
so where would i start
i know halopc has tutorials but there different involving bitmap edditing
i just want the normal bloodgulch with the box i added in the obj file into my pc mod

also what bitmaps would this box have?

i am a mac user but i can help with this

ok you need to inject the model for a stone but if its a big model do this

go to sparkedit copy the boulder (small one) to middle of map

then delete the ones by the bases so it wont make 3 difrent models

and then go into map i think that will work for u

for bsp thing

there is a BSP remover app for windows in these forums just search BSP

use that to remove the bsp and there you have your new one that u made the stone into

lol that will work lol i done it on VPC all your doing is adding a model of a map that u made you replace rock and then take out BSP with that app and its makes everything black and you got a new map like Deox's space mod for demo

yeah

how the hell do you inject a model that huge over a rock?!? Please share. Sounds like a mac only job, because there would be way more verts, but if it's possible on PC, please tell me how. Also, wouldn't that exception HMT?

That's CE>PC, which I know is possible, but Tyler777 explained that you can do it without any CE... Also Tyler, wouldn't the ground not have a collision model? What you explained seems completely impossible.

just fallow the objconverter tut that you get with the mac mod tools and use a rock and the obj file of what you want to put inand there u have it
u replace the rock verts with the new object verts so there should not be a problem Deox did it to a demo map called Deep Space

then transfer the edited file with new obj in it and move it to VPC and use the BSP remover app and your done now edit spawn points lol and your done

Still, where does the collision model come from?

Edit::

Deox is a halo demo mac modder not a pc modder

there is no way you can make a bsp in halo and have it have collision...you need tool (HEK)

did i mention Deox can programm so he might have some specail tool to do it and stuff or he did do it with HEK and used bobindashadows method to convert CE->Mac

he know that to so does sword lol i talked to them on aim

OK quick overview of models: the mod2 file does not have anything to do with the collision model, its just a model that a texture or other thing is overlayed on. The collision tag(don't want to use collision model because it can confuse people)has to be created and that requires HEK, but hey, if Deox has something that creates collision tags from .obj or something that'd be really cool

i will ask about that thing & i also know that he knows how to convert Ce to Mac so he may use HEK so i am gona contact him

by the way he is L337
