Weird problem with people getting thrown out of a map

ok i basically had an idea recently too do a joiner freindly "arangment" mod for hangemhigh.
so i went into ce and made a scenerio of hangemhigh with vehicles and re arragened weapons.
i then ported it over too pc and rebuilt the map and it works perfectly. so i had vehiceles in hangemhigh. the map had no custom content and had no meta swaps or things that would make the map not joiner freindly. but whenever someone (like me on my other computer over lan) trys too join they get a exception. its really pissing me offf cause there should be no reason for it too crash because essentially the mod i made was basically a sparkedit mod done in Sapein.
anyone have any ideas as too wtf happened?

idk what the problem was, but why didn't you just use sparkedit?

cause you cant add vehicels in sparkedit. you can duplicate them but you cant ADD them.

well...personally...after useing sapien you dont tend to want to use sparkedit...and sparkedit cant edit CE->PC scenarios.

i didnt use sparkedit at all. i did all the editing in sapien then converted the scenerio too pc.

they join and as soon as they get into the map they get a crash. as in. as soon as the map loads it gives the joiners an exception error.

do they have the mod??? or is it supposed to be user friendly...and if it suspposed to be user friendly i know your problem..
CE scenario doesnt like it when halo pc users join...they need the mod too...and if you want to make it joiner friendly...use sparkedit

you can add vehicles...just click import tag into the scenario and choose a vehicle...

That isnt 100% true, its only certain things added into the map that will do that. Flags, trigger volumes, and scripts will convert fine and be joiner friendly (i actualy got a server running a few of these maps for me and anyone can join fine), the main thing that causes problems is adding TOTALLY new things into the scenario which the client trys to reference but cant and fails (IE if i use flags and trigger volumes they dont sync so they arnt necessary so clinet doesn't recognize new data).
I dont know how to articulate exactly what i am trying to say because i lack the technical language. Basicly you can use CE scenarios in rebuilt PC maps and be joiner friendly if its all "set up" correctly.

on topic: The only way you getting the vehicles in a map that doesn't have them normally is to use sparkedit and import as scenery as andrew said.

that never works for me. when i try to import as scenery NOTHING happens and i mean NOTHING and also then the vehicles wont respawn and stuff.

conure is usually right whenever he posts, because he seems to have a lot of modding knowledge. And I doubt he's 'out to get you', his expertise just usually lines up with whatever you tell people, therefore he will usually have some sort of correction at hand.
