HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I'm modding my Halo on my new Vista...

I installed new skins, and I don't like them anymore. After I replace the bitmaps.map file, if I open up HMT it gives me my old bitmaps again. How do I fix this little dillema?

EDIT: Crap, I just remembered there was a help deck. It would be great if this could be moved there, sorry for the trouble.

omg i tell everyone this

1. right click your modding tools
2. click properties
3. go to security or settings
4. click the checkbox always run as administrator
5. open your modding tools, vista will ask you "Cancel or Allow" click allow walla...your modding tools updated (you may need to do what you did to that map again)

PS. to all those who thinks vista sucks...you suck.
