I have reson to believe that i figured out how to port the maps but, it only works foir halo demo on mac lol i do not know how to do it for Full halo, i converted H2bloodGulch to halo demo it is a beta CE map

but i am not gona say how to do this method of mine unless i get permison from an admin
idk if bob made the method that i am using or not its bugging me but i aint gona release any maps or release my tut on how to do it

there are already tutorials on how to port CE maps to PC...you can release any tutorial you want.

i poted it to mac! not PC i used virtual PC to do it tho lol

I'm sure it would be alright to do this for PC, but not for trial. If everyone created CE maps that could be converted to trial, what's the point of getting PC? Buying PC to get CE? It's a good idea to experiment with, but not release.

yep and ur not the only one lots of people know but dont want to release a tutorial or mod because its ruining halo by make no 1 buy the real thing
however its ok to pmi something from the 1 campaign map in halo trial to multiplayer

Hi, I play halo demo almost everyday on a mac computer. It is quite unfortunate, though, that Bungie no longer sells Halo for the Mac. I know that converting CE maps to the demo is illegal but I would like someone to send me a link where I can just download the maps straight to my computer. Each one including Hang 'Em, Sidewinder, etc. If it's not legal here, you can email me a link at thoraxe94@yahoo.com. Please send me something.

you're asking someone to DO something illegal...
modding = illegal: EULA violation- widely accepted however
ripping = illegal: theft- just about every site is against it

stop continuing to bump this thread its old real old i can convert to demo its really easy just figure ot out the way is posted here but u gotta add a few more stepps to get it on demo do not release those maps tho and CE to demo is legal full to demo is not

Maw to demo is using the maw bsp from full. So it's like PC->CE->Demo. Which is still PC->Demo = not a good idea.

well there is a loop whole if you can find it you provided it : harbinger is the look whole you convert the bsp from CE and say u didnt know it was inported from PC

I wouldn't consider it a loop hole since you have to have the full version of HPC to convert using harbinger. So any amount of ripping from converted maps is the same as ripping tags from full. If it's only custom content tags, then why bother converting? Short and simple if a CE map is playing on demo it's using full tags somewhere.

You knew the maw used full content since you have full. And most demo users know which maps are for full and which aren't. So don't be talking about it.
