well guys im sorry to say that the UI isn't moddable :(

I tried to PMI an elite and the hologram halo thing from AOTCR and well the mod wasn't sucessfull. One problem that arose was during rebuilding and when it would auto fill in the blancs, well it put down levels\test\ui and there is no test part to the ui. So I had to manually change those. I was really hoping I could give the menu a new look.

Nice try man. What were you exactly going to modify? The background in the main menu?

Ok you BOTH have no clue how to do this. Open up UI.map in Hex editor. Click find and put in (lets say Blood Gulch) It will search for it and bring up the unicode string. Change it and your done. And to change the LOOK of it. Look for the bitmaps of the words.

well actually the ui is moddable. i was going to make it look like the hologram solar system in two betrayals of AOTCR.

Rebuild the map with it in it. Then swap the snery Halo for it.
