hows this conversion mod sound..

ok im workin on a mod and i wanna try to get it to stay on the site and not get deleted for sucking. im working on a50_a, which in case you dont know is basically an island with little sections and walkways to each one around the outside... eh go look at it. anyway, im movin all the spawns, flags, equipment ect.. (if you dont do that ur stupid)

but all i have injected is the red and blue lights, the flame emitter, and a barricade... i need ideas of what else to inject to make it cool. trees? plates? boulders? something else?

and 1 more thing, how do you get a vehicle into a map that doesnt have them w/o replacing a scenery with the vehicle. i tried working with the .scnr.xml file but no luck so far

my good friend, what you need is PLASMA flame! It's in D20. also, try extracting some of mono's imported scenery in AOTCR, and the longsword scenery from the maw(put it ontop of the level to make it look cool) a new particle system from D_40, POA_explosion_smallsection is also cool looking.beam emitters are encouraged.

don't emitters mostly cause exceptions because they are trigger controlled? and as triggers don't work in MP, it causes exceptions? Dunno, its just I heard something about emitters a bit back....

Dude, that doesnt mean he can't convert it just because you said so lol, whats gonna set these conversions apart is the time and effort put into them, not what conversion they are :D

Well then, do an excellent job on it, and put some stuff in that sets your apart...not many seem to be doing the first part of the maw, like me, cos they probably think its too small, but they should realise they can build structures outside to intersect, like me, with secrets too :d like being able to fall of certain point, landing into a tele, which takes you to a secret weapon or something :D gonna be cool :D I might also have booby traps about the place, you know like breakable glass, platforms that when you walk on them you drop through them (I can use that for secrets as well as falling death :D)

I think it would be great because on CTF when your running away with the flag you have to think on your feet, to avoid some of the traps as well as get the flag back, and with its thin corridors there will be some great close quarter battles.

I'm hoping to put AI sentinels in, shielded ones...with their lasers etc, so that during combat you not only have to fight the enemy team, or everyone else in the case of FFA, you also have to fight them off as well :D

Gonna be fun if I can pull it all off. :D

I'm not 100% sure, thats why I said hopefully :P
