Im new to dedicated servers but not to modding.When i install a mod for ex the motorcycle for di mod it doesnt show up in the server.What kind of mods can u have on a dedicated server that work? please help

Don't bump your topics unless it's been 5 days since your last post and noone else has posted yet. @Your problem... unless you forward the ports on your router, which I DO NOT RECOMMEND-YOU CAN COMPLETELY EXPOSE YOUR COMPUTER THIS WAY TO HACKERS AND CRAP, you can't see your own dedicated server in Halo. Only other people not on the same IP as you can see. (It has nothing to do with the map.)

I MEAN THE MOD i can see it and join it and so can otehr people ,read what i said , i applied the mod and noone could see the mod

What you're basically asking, is what is joiner friendly and what is not. Also know as CSS (cascading server side).
Anything done using HMT plugins (no PMI, no rebuilds, no skins) is joiner friendly. As are sparkedit changes. So basically what you can do are n00b swaps, change the number of projectiles/how much damage they do and any spawn point changes. Also under very special circumstances, AI can be made CSS.
It doesn't matter whether it's dedicated server or your own halo server, to play with people who don't have the mod you're going to be limited to very simple changes.

ok i have another problem, how would in inject or input a obj such as a rpg into a map ,and how do i inject/ input other weapons???

to inject weapons...
1. Buy a mac
2. learn the tools
3. import the model.
To do it on a PC:
1. make model
2. make bitmaps
3. import models and bitmaps in CE
4. make the model into a weapon
5. compile your map
6. switch the version
7. extract wep with HMT
8. extract raw model
9. normal PMI
10. Play halo
Hehe this is a very small tut...search somewhere for a more indepth one.
