gimp plugin for dds

well i have adobe but as u know i suck at it... 
...so i decided to check out gimp and it rocks!!!! so since i have adobe i have to convert to open but it gets boring i wanna be able to click it and open it in gimp...so is there any plugin for gimp that allows me to open a dds format???
