Is it possible to modify the wraith itself to recognize the MC as a valid model to use it? or to modify the MC to be able to use a Wraith. I know that using the Elite model via hacking works but this is (at leat in my experience) a very buggy method and it crashes evey time i do anything beside move and use things that require the "use" function.

ive heard that in the meta there is like vehicle use properties or something like in the bipeds to say what guy can use what vehicle...i think

It's an interesting possibility... would you need to modify the wraith, or the cyborg? I'm not sure if there is a specification in the vehicle to determine valid drivers or if there's one in the bipeds to determine valid vehicles. I'll have to look into this.

if you really want to get into a wraith, ive heard that it is possible, but an elite must be getting in, then right as the door opens, you kill him (sniper) and then u can get in, as ive heard its something like that.. i have not tested, and im not positive

since that was off the subject, i will go back a bit, in saying, sure its possible, but do i personally know how? no

you must first find meta to both a wraith and another vwehicle, then follow them to a certain point.. im not positive where... it might even be in the the varient

In aotcr Just bump an elite, im assuming you know how to use the trainer...
then go look for an empty wraith, if you have trouble finding one, turn on fall guy/never die on the trainer and jump off the first bridge. This will cause the game not to spawn anymore elites/grunts/jackals so you can find an empty wraith. It will say press X to enter. Theres no getting out of wraiths though, not prgramed in.

you know you dont even have to have invincibility to get off the bridge on aotcr.If you go to bungie.org go to their tricks sections and they have videos on how to do things like that without hex ed.Also ive found empty wraiths in aotcr after getting off the bridge and im not able to get in them.

shadow, i appreciate the tip, but i am trying to avoid hacking a vehicle after i start the game, what i want to know is where the tag is that tells what can use the vehicle, thus i (or anyone else) could edit evhicles so that it will allways be possible to use it, thus eliminating the tediosity (is that a word) of getting in a vehcile, saving, quitting, hexing a different vehicle.... etc etc every time i wish to use the Wraith, i have (as mentioned above) found that hexing a map i have a game going on, does funny things with the game, and therefore, i cannot (or at least, should not).

just use hmt 3 and open aotcr, and go to vehicles, wraith, and change the seat from wraith-driver to G-driver. now the mc gets in it as if it were a ghost.

Actually its better if you change the seat name to W-Driver or scorpion-driver because the master cheif looks better getting into the wraith like a scorpion rather than a ghost.

except if you do it in single player the Elites can't use it.

Oh, Goat, and check the date i posted this, a while before HMT3 came out, check some other posts and you will see me giving advice similar to yours.
