u chaneg the model? lol, very simple go to iron forges offsets, (convert to little endian) find, then replace with the offsets (also converted) from the tree u want... go find the tut for mc warthog (note, use search button) and then switch the offsets with the tank and tree...

as long as u swap everything rite u can still drive (u'll notice that if u do it rite the game will actually enter.. :) )

ok.. i will repeat very slowly then... for everyone to understand

go to main page

find new section

go to iron forges site

find offsets to game you want

find offsets for map you want

find offset for tank

convert in little endian (ex. asdfghjk in big endian (which is what u see on the list) is jkghdfas in little endian (and these offsets are located on the left side colum)

find that little endian offset in map

highlite it, and minimize

go back to offset list

find tree u would like to use (note-both these things must be in the model section, no vehicle, although the tree might be in scenery, but try model first...)

switch the tree to little endian

replace tank offset (in your minimized map within the hex editor of your choice (mine is preferably hex workshop))

find all other tank modela and replace with tree model

make sure you save with the correct map name

close hex workshop

open halo

select map

play

dude, i explained it as simple as it gets.. lets say your offset is: AS DF GH JK, ok? u got that, ok, now that is big endian, in little endian this would be JK GH DF AS.. so it is reversed at every other #.. u got that.. it applies for everything

if ur confused about the endians, it just shows which byte takes more importance, like intel processors were made with big endian, so they read data a certain way.. a little endian chip could not read the data the same way.. andpossibly not read it at all...

this can play a big part in meta depending on what you are doing

dude.. it doesnt get ANY easier.. my previous post totaly explains it.. you reverse offset in pairs of two...

funny... I have yet to change from big endian to little endian using a hex editor, but the mods work EVERY time... go figure...

I think I understand what he's trying to say, but I've also never heard the term endian.

What he's saying makes sense. Like he pointed out, it can't really get any easier. If you need a tut, there's lots of them around.

You could just try and figure it out for your self cos everyone has to learn something on my own.... cos my mods which I make I've made 4 and I learnt using the tutorial and then I gradually picked things up as a I progressed. now I have modded all the SP levels and most of the MP levels

jimmsta are you changing the models or something else, I believe i pointed out that you dont need to swap these things, and i havent tried not swaping them through the pc, but in this case i believe it requires a model swap

I got an easier solution.

Open HMT.

Open the map you want.

Get to the offset you want. (tree or tank)

Open the Utilities tab.

Put your offset in there.

Click swap endian.

Viola. Easy, huh?

Heres t3h problem i run into. After I swith the offsets to little endine (its the offsets not the value, meta, or indent right?) I end up with somthing like 23344500. When i "goto" the offset it is too big. Because of the zeros getting swithed to the back. So how should i do it instead?

Also, I go to the offsets for the tank vhical, not the tank vehical model offset. Right?
