UNSC Mod

i am making a new mod called the UNSC mod. the most significant change will be a transport hog, and a pelican. i would love to see these for tatical use, not just for some wannabe pilot/driver. and if i can contact taimat, ill do the peli pick-up. the transport hog, i made but use the one from w4rtorn cove as a base(it will look EXACTLY the same but it is CUSTOM MADE AND TAGGED BY ME and it has verts in the same place) it will change many vehicles and weapons. i do need beta testers, so pm me if interested.it is for FULL pc and if i can get ohold of some mac users, for mac too.

About half of the is impossible, Halo PC can't have scripts, which is how Tiamat's tags worked. Also, you can't really put the bases from WartornCove unless you redo the BSP in Gmax or 3ds Max, then remake the make with tool, then somehow get it back to PC.

er,you can...just use them on a CE map that has a PC version(exaple;bloodgulch) ,extract the .scenario.meta and rebuild with it.
tharts how i got some sripts to work (no falling out of vehis, sp title bar in mp,...)

lol what i meant was i made a trans hog that looks exactly like the one from w4rtorn cove because i put the verts in the exactly same place using vert coords. i know the accual base from wartorn cove cant be remodeled without editing the BSP. and scripting in halo is possible. how do you think the warthog latches in campaign?

anyways if you can get it in multiplayer this willl be a break thru

or i might just get lazy and create the hog model onto the pelican from hugeass. i already have the working animations. so it won't be much of a problem for me.

the latching in SP wasn't a script (not to my knowledge that is), it was just an animation or something.

Nope that was a script, and scripts have been done in PC MP before.

yeah,i use them all the time,just check my mod "stranded" . It has the level title scipt in it

Pictures? And, the warthog in campaign attached to the Pelican is NOT script, if you look under the seat names, there is a Cargo seat, mapped where the warthog latches. And it has a little bit of animation to with it as well. It is also not hard at all to convert the Transport warthog from w4rtorn cove, I can do it for you if you would like.

it is a attched by a object_attach ciommand..
You attach it to the cargo node.
and even if it wasnt how do u think it de-attchs?
It isnt a biped that you can tell to detach through command lists, it is scripted......... Unless yo u can prove a alternitive it is gona stay scripted

lol yeah i forgot to put a bunch of stuff in game before i sent it out. I'm finishing up the the stuff from my sketches before i release the beta to the public. lol me and my GF designed this map. there are many things to be added. i might release tomorrow night if i can get hht to show it's swap button ill take a pic.

if you want the swap button back click properties on desktop then go settings>advanced DPI setings: 96
at least that fixxed it for me >.>

yeah, its not your screen res (from other thread) its DPI settings, 96 should fix it.
