PMI Projectile Exception Error

I'm still working on my first mod, and I just tried to use HMT to swap the rocket projectile with a wraith bomb. So I injected the wraith bomb, but now I get an exception error whenever I start up the map. Help! Full details below:
Detailed Summary: Used HMT to go into b40 and used "Save Meta" to save the wraith projectile. From here I went into my modded map, selected the rocket, and pressed "Inject meta" and selected the wraith projectile. I moved the map into Halo's map folder, but when I started up the map, I got an exception error. So I got back to b40 and save the rocket projectile, figuring I would just switch them back. I injected the rocket projectile over it and encountered the same problem. Any way to get my wraith gun to work?

you are missing al the dependancies that the projectile uses in order to get the wraith mortar you must pmi the entire wraith to gain all dependancies it uses.
Wraith Dependancies?

Ok, so which other sections do I need to inject, just the wraith damage meta? Or everything I can find that relates to the wraith?

Not sure if you know this, but you also can't PMI onto a modded map.

yeah,I usually just PMI the wraith and then use the weapon data.. I can't seem tomake the wraith workfully..I just get errors when I place it onto a map.. but the weapon is awesome fun.
what I've done

Ok, here's what I've done: inject wraith projectile into rocket projectile, and projected wraith damage into rocket damage. How would I go about putting an entire wraith into the map? (So as to get the gun to work)

there're so many tutorials on how to PMI vehicles onto a map. do a search and you're bound to find something.. but beware. when I do a normal PMI of a wraith it doesn't seem to want to work for me.
anyone else have this trouble?

Do nto listen to anyones advice except warlords becuase it is not accurate.
You are going about it in the logical way , yes.
However as warlord says it is missing all the dependancys. When we say PMI we mean perfect model inject. Look up atutoorrial on it , it is much differnt to what u are doing, you have to rebuild the entire map file

Well, I went to the site and registered (twice), but still haven't gotten my "activate your account" email. Could you perhaps post the tut here?

Ok, is there any way for me to just be able to get the rocket and the rocket explosion back without getting an exception error everytime I start the map up?

open your backup map (I presume you made some) copy the meta of the projectile, then open your modded map and paste the meta into there.
or.. just replace the modded map with one of your backups.
if you haven't made a backup, put in your CD, right click.. explore.. cabinet files.. and find the one with your map in it.

Unfortunately, I hadn't made a back-up. Would it work to just take an original map? Because I've tried injecting the old metas from various other maps (b40 namely) into my mod to no avail. Or do you mean just copy the numbers (next to the save meta button) from the original map?
*EDIT* I tried both copying numbers and injecting the original meta back into the file with no luck. Any other ideas?

I just realized that this might be the wrong forum to post this in, would a better place for this be the help desk?

No, this is fine. As for halopc.net, didnt DECOY set it up so you did not have to join to view tutorials? It should work...

Finally got the PMI to work. (Yay for me!) Unfortunately, I've still had no luck in fixing the exception error I get every time I load the map. I've tried 2 different configurations. One is just the rebuilt map that included the Wraith. The other takes the damage and projectile of the rocket launcher and replaces it with the damage and projectile of the Wraith. Both still give me exception errors. Any other ideas?
*EDIT* Tried another thing today to see if I could at least get the rocket back in. I made a copy of the map and PMI'd a rocket launcher into it. Still got an exception error upon starting the map. Also took the rocket PMI map and injected rocket projectile and damage from b40 without any luck.

Although it's been a good learning experience, (especially since I learned how to PMI), I give up. The map is probably better without the wraith gun, although I still have no way to get it back to its original state. Could I possibly send the map to someone and see what they can do with it?

I would have done that first if not for the fact that I was nearly done with the map by the time I decided to put in the wraith projectile. That means that I would have to start all over again.
