Grunt Gulch, Here

I did this with my own knowledge, HaloMapTools v3 (Don't ask where to get it, I won't tell you) and HHD Hex. Yes, this is a grunt in blood gulch. It's for Pc. The only problems with it are:
he's stiff when he dies.
his texture coords are fuxored up.
This is NOT a bot, it is Master Cheif replaced with a grunt. Yes, It does have all sounds and everything, and No it didnt replace anything in the .map. How, you ask, did it not replace anything, Map Rebuilding my friends. Anywhoo, Over the next few days, I hope to make a release, with proper texturing and death model. This couldn't have been done without Tjc2k4, MonoxideC, and Kornkob. Thanks guys.

So cool! YEAY! It's been the dream of almost every Halo fan to one day play as a covenant...sort of. Now we can...sort of. Good luck in finishing it.

Thanks george. Today I hope to fix textures and create a capture the grunt type thing, by replacing the flag models with a grunt. I might see how grunt grenades work out too, and then I'll fix animations, and start importing elites, hunters, and as I said maybe cortana. See you all later.

why are people wasting time with grunts? comeon now grunts are slow and weak. BUT... if you could make it where the blue team are elites and red are MC's that would be the all holy $h!t.

Screw that idea. They still can't pick up or drive anytin. But if you got a pelican in Bg to drive around in... Now that'd be sumtin.

this is awesome i just tryed it out as soon as i gots home and its cool but yea the animation models are a little screwy but its a mojor breakthrough

lol, u should make one team these huge hunters, and the other those little popcorn floods (but shrink em dwn) lol, and put lazers on the popcorn things just to even it out,

I'm very sorry, but I'm not going to be able to release any patches 'till hmt3 is out, for a reason I cannot share. Lets just say I told a friend I would not, and I intend to keep my word. He's okay If I release vids or pics though, so heres status of what else I've done. Yes, thats an elite in bloodgulch, and no, you can't have him yet, I just said why. He can use most weapons, and can get into cov vehicles. Plus he has more animations working. (It is my theory that since the model isn't perfectly imported, that animations don't work.) I'll keep you all posted on my progress, until hmt3 comes out. 'till then, wait

*drools in anticipation* Hope to see this soon. Can't wait till you complete the Grunt Gulch too. Tried it out and there's a strange satisfaction playing as a little grunt (even with bizarre bodies and flags

).

Aztec, can you explain one thing to me? i was just curious, if you could change all the models instead of just the few your changing (ie, grunt_1 grunt_2..) can you import all or just one on top of another? (yes, im aware of how these things work...)
and for your pics you should brighten the whole scene

nice job though

i forgot to take the mod off bloodgulch yesterday and the grunt could drive any vehicle but i had no weapon ive only seen that in POA when u first start off but when he drove the hoggy he sat sideways lol

Hivemind: Just one on top of another, and I did import all grunt models, its just that the model importer isn't perfect (hell, it was almost just made) I gave tjc a bug report, and these problems might be fixed soon. Anyway, I hope to get a video out today maybe.
