Halo 2 mod help...

Hi, this is my first post on this forum and i have just gotten into this modifying games deal. i have to admit it looks pretty cool, but i am already having troulble. Recently, i downloaded NitrousOxide's Halo 2 mod and im having trouble installing it. After i extracted the RAR files and saw the bitmaps PPF file, i had no clue what to open it with! Can someone please tell me what to open a PPF file with, and if there are any programs associated with it, please give me a link to it thanks!!!!!!!!!
