getting into halo pc

i need to know how to break halo pc so i can mod then im fine with it its jus getting the maps in and out to start with
can sum1 help

You mean access the place where the maps are stored?
To do that go into my computer>local disc>program files>microsoft games>halo>mpas. they are all stored there. If it's something else, than please be more clear in the question.

i think what hes saying is how to mod them, you dont have to break the map you just need HMT 3.5 (halo mapping tools) and you can mod them without having to break them or w/e, but be advised back up your original BG, cus if u do a meta swap it is perm.

Dont just back up BG back up all the maps you mod.
And meta swaps aren't permanent, if you have the original meta value from that map you can just swap it back.
