A problem with HMT

I have it downloaded and installed, but when I run it it comes up with an aplication error saying "Application failed to initialize properly". It might have something to do with the .NET problem, but for reasons I'd rather not disclose I can't download that, and I don't believe that's the cause. Please help if you can, I've been wanting to mod Halo for a while. Oh, and if you meantion anything about putting something somewhere I'll kill my self for stupidity.
