Night time

Hi now i have came back i am now working on a new mod , however i am a bit rusty :P.

I am having trouble creating a nightime scene using the [SKY] plugin for HMT.


What is the best way to make a nightime map?

i have already swapped the bitmap of the sky of beacercreek ( the map i am modding) for that of gyrophobia.

The best way to get a night sky in beaver creek is to pmi it. then after you pmi it just do a simple meta swap of he two skies.

And to get the map itself darker, you can edit the lightmaps. Tutorials can be found at Halopc.net, or here, but i reccomend halopc.net

How would you PMI the sky? Same as normal where you have to extract this and get the vertices things and all that? Or is there a new type of PMI I still dont know how to do,

Try not to bump the topic, please. But I will tell you anyways. I think the best sky to use is either a10 or a50, double check which map has a night sky. So basically it is a regular PMI although one of the skies doesnt work when you PMI, so try to doa few at a rime and see what works. Thats what I did.
