Help me i lost my original bloodgulch

I replaced my original bloodgulch by accident can someone help me
and i'm not stupid for doing this how did i know if you copy the original and paste it in the folder with the mod would change it i thought it would delete the old mod but it didnt the custom mod actualy overrit my original bloodgulch mod can someone get me a original blood gulch map
without it i cant play my favorite map PLEASE HELP.

re-install? or just get the maps from the .cab files. i think.

well i dont want to re-install halo and i dont know what a .cab is im new

im not sure exaclty how to get to the .cab files :oops: , but u could just get there (some how) and copy and paste the bloodgulch back in to your MAPS folder. if that doesnt work, get some1 that speaks n00bish to help. :o

*** in the future, backup ur map files. make a seperate folder with them.

On the Halo PC CD, go to the folder called "FilesCab" and open the file "Cab2.CAB" and extract it to wherever. Then, copy the Bloodgulch map file and replace the modded file with it. Then, delete the other files that you extracted, to save disk space.

i did make a seperate folder but the custom mod overrit the original

just re-install and click "repair corrupted files", and it will be fixed

go to My computer/program files/microsoft games/halo and look for the "uninstall" button
click it, then click re-install, then click repair corrupted files

no you RE-install, click RE-install, the icon just says "un-install" but u can do both on it
