I managed to make myself into a hunter in the campaign mode. My problem is I can't pick up and weapons, and can't melee. I would like to know if I could make the hunter use the fuel rod cannon and the good old hunter melee.

Im pretty sure you cant. You may be able too pick up weapon by editing the weapon user ability in HMT but i doubt that will work. You can swap the dependencys for the hunters weapon in HHT also. But it is impossible too get the hunter too get in vehicles and i dont think he can melee unless you hex it. Im not exactly sure about this but im 90 % sure.

And I'm 100% sure inferno's 90% right.

You cannot melee. But I think one time when I got really close to an enemy and I clicked the mouse but did not hold it and it meleed. But there was no FP obviously.

Actually I'm 100% sure that you're wrong on one thing.

I've managed to get it so the hunter fires the fuel rod gun and melees with the correct melee strength (which oddly enough has no effect on hunters and vice versa). It didn't show the third person model meleeing, but I saw it in first person (in the form of a plasma pistol melee).

I didn't care enough to try and make a fuel rod arm model or a melee attack, but it is totally possible.

Nothing on vehicles or picking up other weapons. Hunters kinda have the fuel rod strapped to their arm...

well i would like too add.. if you were devoted enough then you could maybe do it in HEK. but i doubht you will ever want too learn HEK.. lol even though i did and its a lot of fun make PC mods like that.

Yeah I know you can get the fuel rod gun to work but the hunter has no animations for entering or exiting vehicles so you'd have to make them in HEK. As for meleeing I have got it so it automaticly melee's when you get close but I'm not sure how to have it on pressing a key.

Goron wanna post how to do it? I would like to be able to be a full out hunter .
