i have been posting alot lately andi have one question....
How do i import or PMI the encounters into a MP map or is this question stupid...
I think maybe pmi'ing all the Bipeds and ACTV tags into bloodgulch and then PMI'ing the scenerio of a30 and placeing it over the BG scenerio and then nullifying any tags referenced in the a30 scenerio that dont exissit in BG might just do the trick. *long intake of breath* wow that was a long sentence...
I remember a BG mod a while ago taht had 50 respawning elites and i think someone said the guy PMI'ed the encounters but i have no idea so plz someone inform me on this and if someone knows about that BG map then i think studying that would also help

i dont think i understand wat your asking...
what are "encounters"
no i dont think u can swap scenarios without exceptions
you can make a sp>mp conversion where u can play a30
but again im not sure im answering ur question...clarify a bit?

Ok heres what encounters are..
If you have phenomenas plugs loadem up and load a30, drop down to scenerio tag in their a whole section is devoted to encounters they are self explanitory if you read the tags parts and flags

that enough explanation?
(off topic question sorry - how long or how many posts aprox does it take to reach jackal status lol)

you will have to an SP->Mp comversion, which unless you can PMI, will be very difficult.
and it takes 100 posts to get to a jackal

ok most of that doesnt sound usefull but do u mean like respawn enabled?
doesnt look like u can pmi THAT
but there is a way to make them respawn i think..

Ok couple of things to anwser
1. yes i can PMI

2. what im saying is, is there a way to move or create new encounters on a multiplayer map? Becasue from my knowledge encounters are basically spawn points for working AI.
3. Why does a scenario swap crash? ( i mean like what casuses it) is it missing dependencys casue i can fix that.

nothing to get from it except errors
as far as i know the only way to get ai spawn points in hpc (actually just remembered) is to make them in halo ce and do a CE-PC map conversion
(other ppl i remember have found out how to do it with only pc but they arnt telling us...then again ive been gone awhile. can someone clarify this? XD)

Ive been putting it off forever now and i guess i should just go ahead and get it over with...
How do i convert CE to PC...

+ actually maybe this wont be soo bad

maybe i can add the jet from coldsnap to deathisland that would be fun covenet on spartan action lotsa respawning AI in flying vehicles with some peleicans flying through the center .. remove the vehcle ceiling.... tons of escape pods dropping threw the middle... have random explosions in the air killing off the noobs .. and a couple of longswords thrown into the mix...

You're asking at the wrong site.
HM is WAAAAAY behind in PC modding. All you need to dso is make your mod using the CE version of your MP map, then extract the scenario (non-recursively) add it to your normal PMI rebuild along with the AI.

You mean i CANT covert vehicles from CE to PC or something...

1. Can you not just convert the map to pc?
2. Can you explain excatly how conversion works from CE to PC and what you can and cannot do or just give me a link directly too a page with this info at halopc.com cause im kinda working on some mods right now and dont have time to search right now
