I revolve around logic, not beliefs.
Just because our current technology is unable to decipher our exact origon doesn't mean some great being created anything.
If that were so, what/who created "God"?
If we need a creator then doesn't he as well? Or did a man-made story book not tell you that?

my theory is that religion, and thus god, was the result of an inability to explain certain things
for example, in the 1890s, a guy quit his job in the US patent office. he tendered his resignation by saying "there isn't anything else to invent."
and so people of the era thought. scientists during that period believed that the unexplainable was a result of too much "ecktoplasm" (no kidding) in the area.
if scientists during that period believed something so naive, so 'we dont want to figure it out', dont you think that it's possible that the same sort of thing could've happened back before we had science, in BC?

If you where right then there wouldent be a Hell would there? And if it wasn't real, then how can such a complex sistem of our bodies come by chance of evolotion? We have made so many robots that can't nearly react or move fast enough as we can. And how can such a big univerce come into exsistance from one big bang? Well there WAS a bang... God said it and BANG it happened.

Hell (and the "devil"/satan/lucipher/whatever) was just, and still is, just a form of scaring people from abondoning a population-controlling religion.ICEFIRE wrote:If you where right then there wouldent be a Hell would there? I could understand people being religious at a young age (15-), but when you start thinking independantly and lose your caretaker's brainwash over you then you don't have the excuse of being ignorant.
I don't think there is a god, and I think that everyone that follows a religion is a complete moron. But I wasn't ever going to try to call anyone wrong for it.
And machines are not as maneuverable as human beings because they aren't organic. They use gears and such for movement - they don't have muscles.
