HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I decided to screw the guys who flamed me. I'm going to make halo maps out of americas army maps. I could use some help making some of the skins here is what the mod is going to include

MAPS
Bridge Crossing-While the original point of this map was for the assualt team to cross the bridge and the defense to hold them off. I think this will be a really sick CTF map.

Swamp Raid-Team 1 will try to infiltrate team 2s base and retrieve something. I'm not sure what that something will be yet thought(probabl a flag.)

Pipeline-This will also probably be a sick CTF map. One team starts outside and one team starts inside. There are several ways inside and several ways outside(and only some of the ways go out and only some of the ways go in)

SF CSAR-Combat Search and Rescue, this map will be one of if not the coolest map of them all. Team A has to secure the Blackhawk(thats right the one from Blackhawk down)and rescue the pilot while team B is trying to destroy the Blackhawk and defend the pilot. The weapon mods in this will be hard trying to make the SOPMOD weapon modifications.

Weapons Cache-Yet another one of those CTF maps. One team starts at the North base and one team starts at the south base. There are 3 entrances/exits out of each building.

Once I finish a couple of these i'll list the other maps i'm going to do

it will be pretty cool when the new tools come out, good luck, and a good idea, but it will take a while.

Weapons cache will be difficult, but I wouldn't reccomend doing swamp raid.

I kinda had to cut off at weapons becuase I had to leave so i'll continue things that will be on this mod

MAPS
River Basin-I'm not sure what this would be. Probably a really good Slayer/TeamSlayer map.

NOTE:There will probably be no vehicles! These are pure shooting maps. I **MIGHT** make small tiny vehicles for maps like River Basin but thats it!

Some of this **MIGHT** not be possible. If u could do skins for any of the weapons

lol, Ive been working on some present-day weapon models too, but I just suck with milkshape... I'll never get 'em done.

I have just finished the AR(Automatic Rifle) 200 round clip! The RPK with a 100 round clip. The AK47-I am still wondering if I should make the AK47 a 30 or 60 round clip weapon. I am still trying to convert the sounds from the acutal game Americas Army into Halo and I don't know if it will be possible. If anyone would know how I could do it tell me please.

HERE WITH AN UPDATE


I will have some trouble posting this soon. I am leaving on vacation(long vacation) and I will be able to work on the mod on my trip (labtop hehe) but I can't get it online unless there is a phone line where i'm staying. We will leave in a couple of days and get back on April 17th.

Shall I tell the story of the last guy who figured out how to mod AAO?

Hint - This is Department of Defence material, they strictelly enforce NO MODDING because the game is a recruiting tool. And now the army woulden't like mods of the Army shooting people in Walmart now would they?

Your telling me i'm gonna get sued for doing this?????

If you are telling me I will get sued I will just do the weapons. They can not get mad at me for making M203's and AR's.

no, life hates me. believe me on that. I have horrible luck... and many not so good things in life.
