any one know how to make doors work?

i need to be able to amke the doors open and close after i PMI them in
what type of open and close?
like by proxxy to the player
or
device controlled [push a button it opens...]
second one doesnt sync and is a bit of work and then even if uget it to work to make it sync is more work................[scripts & converting all involved]
and first i cant explain cuase i dont have hmt here to look at.........
