i installed a modded blood gulch, i named the map "bloodgulch1.map" when i go into multi player, make game, the map doesnt show up. so i make a game on a regular map, open the console and type "sv_map bloodgulch1 ctf" but it doesnt work why?

Q2: Is there a way to turn mods on and off, like if i install a mod for infinite grenades, but want to be able to make a normal game how do I?

You can't just add a new map and the game would update to let you use that. You have to backup your maps and then replace the maps folder maps with the modded one. And then if you are talking about CTF, You can edit a gametype to give you inf nades...actually any gametype...

you cant just turn a mod on and off.

and you will have to rename "bloodgulch1.map" to "bloodgulch.map". you cant choose your own names. period.

Apparently you'll be able to put new maps (different names) in when (if) HEK comes out...but not yet...
(Not ever from what I've heard)

Poor guy... you can't do this yet. You have to have it named bloodgulch.map.

Apparently you'll be able to put new maps (different names) in when (if) HEK comes out...but not yet...

I'm not sure what you're on...but it definitely seems to had adverse effects on your attitude....
