taking 3d OBJ convert to picture

i want to take some of the 3d models from halo(mostly MC head), and make a avatar gif out of them, is this possible and how, i have all the tool, and milkshake 3d 1.7

The bets way is to probobly just take a pic in game of mc. Then open it up in photo shop, Ajust canvess size just right to make it just his head.

well i kinda wanna use the 3d model and make it look 3d in the gif, and just wanna know how to do that

The model in the game is 3D...So take a screenshot like he said and then use it for you .gif. It WILL look 3D for obvious reasons.

Hm I have no clue then.. Milk shape isn't going to help. There isn't a moddle of JUST the mc's head. The head is part of the Biped CYBORG. That is why I sugested

u have to render the 3d model......use 3d max, gmax has a script now, maya, xsi, lightwave......

well i have the head seperated from the body, and have it saved as a OBJ, but i cant import it as the MC so i cant take a screen, help!?!
ill try my autocad, and see if that works

u cant render a material on a model with cad, get the 3d max trail or gmax with the script....

basicily, all i want to do is have a the 3d model be able to import it into photoshop to edit, i dont care about texture.
