can u help me and tell me where to go to get the helpful halo hacking tool
i looked under the how to apply ppf patches tutorial and it gave me a url for a site to go to but my computer always says cant find website where else can i go to get this im trying to load my first mod that someone crated and it seems real hard cause this shit is way too confusing for me and i have tried hundreds of ways but the ppf-o-matic says after i get the iso and the patch and hit apply "patch succesful, burn to cd" i put halo in cause thats what i figured u have to put in for it to work and hit ok. suddenly everything goes away then i go into the game and select bllod gulch and it is no different. i have been trying to play triple_black textures mod and it wont apply so i tried the halo modding for dummies tutorial and i got to the part about the hex workshop downloaded that then i opened the triple black textures mod into hex workshop and NOW IT SAYS I NEED IRON FORGE SO CAN U TELL ME WHICH IS EASIER (hhht)helpful halo hacking tool way or the halo modding for dummies method
YEAH its long i know im a total newb just lookin for some halo fun but this shit makes no sense even when people explain it so maybe u can help me

well hhht is only a ppf patcher, personally i use ppf-o-matic, but thats just cause i already had it, but what you want to know is, halo modding for dummies is an intro to modding, with hex workshop and making your own mods, and applying ppfs is a way to apply other peoples mods, not to make new ones, so hope that helps

s'ok... but I dont see how the F5 key could look like m5... tho I can never tell what "sys rq" is...

*edit* never forget the holy semi-colon's; comma's only denote a pause in speech while semi-colon's indicate a whole nother sentence without the need for a period.

1) I have also been trying to apply mods through HHHT, and nothing ever seems to change. I've spent hours searching for an answer and files.halomods.com is down. Am I missing something? 2) Hex Editing does not seem hard at all, but Iron Forge seems to be down so I can't find an offset list anywhere. Anyone have an answer without a cocky "you're a newb" remark?
