Ok, strange pop-up while using hmtv 3.5

Ok so I was trying to skin for the very first time. I was using halo mapping toolsv3.5 . I went to the bitmaps then I clicked on "vehicles/warthog/bitmap/warthog" for some reason i got a message saying in ecact words" error accessing bitmaps.map-make sure it exists in the same folder as the map you are trying to open". What does it mean and how can i fix the problem?

you need to have your bitmaps.map file in the same folder as the map that your skining.

I am guessing you have halo running while your trying to extract the bitmap, if you are it wont work because the game is using the map so hmt cant.

that or he did what i do and has copied the map to his desktop or someother folder and forgot to copy the bitmap file as well.

Make sure that your bitmaps.map is in the same folder as the map you have opened in HMT. If it is, then copy your original bitmaps.map and paste it over the one in your mod folder. The one in your mod folder is corrupted, so that would overwrite it with a fresh copy.
