problems with downloading maps and plugins from this site

i'm having some problems with downloading maps and plugins from this site. When I get one it asks me what application i should open it with. Which one should i choose, i i do wordpad, its just code. Thanks

if you are downloading .rar or .zip files you'll need WinRar to uncompress the files in it.
