Spiked logs that hurt

I have made spikey log in milkshape but i cant figure out how to get it to hurrt when you touch it if it is possible can someone tel me how to do it

I dont think it's possible... wait for the HEK, it'll probably be possible then...

hunter, why don't you try helping people instead of just telling them its not possible until the hek, everyone of your post is like this


to anwser the question, youd have to find an object in halo that hurts when you touch it,(not sure what), then find the meta the does this, and try to add it to the log

wasnt there a flaming grenade mod that when you threw it it had flames that hurt if you walked over it??????????????

Yea, probably used the flamethrower projectile since they stay there for a second or so and when you run over them you catch on fire.

hey, how bout the beam emitter proj. that hurts when u touch it, just turn down the damage.

but dont forget that's possibe because the frag grenade has a smoke trail that follows it... he probably just replaced it with the flame_defoliant... the smoke trail would be under "particle system" I think...

dude PoA use those exploding walls that the flames hurt that would work

why would you want to? using the flamethrower stuff is much easier... (and yes, the flamethrower is on HXB too...)

anyway, I dont think you can use a projectile in place of a particle... I bet it would give you a mr exception... but try it out... it might work :)

uh.. i think u can edit the collision model for it, and set the damage all the way up. correct me if im wrong

lol... everyone here targets me and uses me as a scapegoat... fucking hypocrits...

and yes, many things noobs ask consist of either

1. something that in fact *cant* be done until the HEK comes out (maybe at least), or

2. is impossible in general, or we have no idea of when it'll be possible...

honestly... does anyone even look at what I'm posting about for at least 2 seconds before flaming me? and they bitch about making Gren pay extra money...
