Complaint about the halomods chat

Ok i was on the site looking at the new mods and video.
I scroll the forums a bit then i go to the halomods channel.

I integrate myself to the discussion and i made the mistake of saying : "It would be fun to have a no-lag patch, i hope they make one" then people started bashing saying that its impossible (it is not impossible , a similar patch existed for quake 3 ... it was not named "no-lag" but it was doing a simillar result ; it was reducing lag A LOT. Even 300ping was playable). And one of the guy on the channel (named "N") was very un-friendly with me. Saying that i was a stupid idiot and that i should be banned (note that i did not do anything wrong). It look like on this channel you cannot have a different opinion than others.

I think that those kind of person should get consequences from their acts.

Oh and i just got banned...awesome. This is a real joke. I hope i can get un-banned because i am sure that there is some good people on this channel who can actually stand a different opinion.

I dont know why but they just jumped on me with bad words....

i got banned for saying 2 bad word at the end , but the "N" guy kept saying bs to me. Other peoples were also saying bs at me.

I did not even know why....that realy piss me off.

BTW : the no lag patch for q3 came in the form of a mod named ---->insta-unlagged<----- SO DONT SAY BS AT ME SAYING THAT IT DO NOT EXIST.....

I too have experienced an incident in the #halomods channel where it was pretty much "flame the latest guy that joined"-day or something. There needs to be some more regulation, but it's hard to do. Consider the fact that once a mod joins, he can't judge on anything that's been said before. It degenerates into a "he said, she said" situation.

At the moment I can't think of a remedy for this.

HOW do you know its impossible... Did you make the game , do you have any knowledge in networking for games?

yeh...I agree...they did a host ban on u.....that sux....u will have to hack it or drop it...but just ignore him...
