IF YOU HELP ME I WILL WORSHIP YOU

Hey guys i need help REALLY bad. Im trying to make the best creation ever. Its a mod for Death Island that is gonna have all of the old weapons with a ton of new ones. The new weapons will be the covie sniper, a grenade launcher, a nuke launcher, a laser beam gun, a mortar, the energy sword, the battle rifle, and the SMG. Maybe ill throw in some extra vehicles....
Im using deadly shadow's duplication tutorial to do all this. Before i tell you what my problem is let me tell you my steps so maybe you can see what i did wrong. First i opened up deathisland in HMTv3. Then i batch extracted it into a blank folder on my desktop. Then i went into my weapons folder and made blank folders of all my new weapons. I labeled my covie sniper "covsniper". I then took all of the dds files and xml and meta files that i wanted my covie sniper and sniper rifle to differ in. I renamed the files then changed their path so that the xml documents now referred to the new metas. After this i went into the levels folder. The test folder. then deathisland folder. I opened up deathisland.scnr.xml and wrote a dependency for the covsniper and gave it the location of one of those stupid covenant storage things. ( i hate those thats why i tried to replace it) Then i rebuilt the map and it rebuilt successfully. But when i tried to play the map i got a visitor named MR. EXCEPTION ERROR. I'm pretty sure i followed the tutorial correctly.
Possible problems( these are things that might have messed it up):
1) I only filled the covsniper folder. I had the other folders for my new weapons blank with nothing in them... yet. ( i only did the covie sniper because i wated to see if it worked and it didn't)
2) i made a bitmaps folder and a shaders folder in my covsniper folder with some covsniper bitmaps and shaders. It didn't say in the tutorial anything about giving your duplication any bitmaps so im not sure if i have to do something to the levels folder to get the bitmaps to work.
3) I tried to make a new weapon on a tutorial thats supposed to be used to make new vehicles. Is there a difference in how to duplicate the 2?
If you help or have any idea how to help me please do. I WILL WORSHIP YOU if you help me. This mod means alot to me. You can tell just by how much i wrote in this post. An if you help me i will let you be one of my testers when the mod is released. I appreciate any help. Ty
